Durant slugs Lakewood to 4-3 comeback win
Sampson gives 'Claws six strong frames
LAKEWOOD, N.J. - Mike Durant's two-RBI double in the bottom of the eighth helped the BlueClaws to a comeback 4-3 victory over the Delmarva Shorebirds on Tuesday night at FirstEnergy Park.
The BlueClaws nearly wasted one of the best starts of the season from Julian Sampson, when the Shorebirds rallied for two unearned runs in the top of the eighth off of Moises Melendez. But Lakewood rallied for three runs in the home half of the inning to take the come-from-behind win.
