Right-hander strikes out career-best 13 in complete game
Drew Naylor struck out a career high 13 hitters in a complete game effort, helping the BlueClaws to a 6-1 victory over the Delmarva Shorebirds on Thursday night at FirstEnergy Park. Naylor, who was named to the North Division All Star team earlier this week, showed why he is one of the best pitchers in the South Atlantic League. He cruised through nine innings for his second complete game of the season, allowing just five hits. He walked one Shorebird hitter, while striking out a career-best 13.
